Hurricane Wisdom Saint Louis Concert reviews
Underwhelming
"I attended because tickets were discounted, and being a long-time fan of emo/pop punk since high school in the late 2000s, I was excited to see Mayday Parade and The Summer Set together, both of whom put on solid performances despite their short sets. The main issue I had was the poor sound balance, making it difficult to understand the lyrics of the other bands, which are typically the focus in emo music. It was strange that Hurricane Wisdom was the headliner, as they are a newer band in the genre with a smaller following compared to many other bands on the tour. I decided to stick around for a portion of their set out of curiosity, but found it to be quite disappointing. As a result, the venue began to empty out after Neck Deep."
